Alfa Roméo Spider Duetto (1966-1969)

The Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto is the ancestor of the GTV Spider and one of the most famous roadsters of the Italian manufacturer.
In 1964, the master coachbuilder Pininfarina was given the task of designing a convertible version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia .

4 series with different designs will emerge:

• The 1 era Series called “ osso di seppia - cuttlefish bone ” because of its very recognizable rear with its plunging design. This Duetto 1st Series makes an appearance in the film The Graduate with Dustin Hoffman .

• The 2nd series " coda tronca " with the truncated rear was presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1969.

• The 3rd series known as “ aerodinamica ” has more pronounced bumpers, model purists will appreciate it only moderately apart from the Quadrifoglio Verde version more top of the range!

• The 4th and last series launched in 1990 on which Pininfarina makes a return to the basics! Bumpers integrated into the bodywork and above all in the same color, “stylish” grille logo, thinner side members, electric mirrors and a high-end upholstery with an engine that can go up to 2l.
