The Austin Healey 100-6 BN6, the two-seater version of its 4-seater sister. It gets its name from the addition of a 6-cylinder engine that upgrades it to an output of 117 hp. It is the happy medium between the price of the 100-4 and the performances of the 3000 which will succeed it. It will make its place in the rally world of its time.

As a follow-up to the latter, the Austin Healey 3000 mk1 took place. More an improvement of the 100-6 rather than a complete new model, with its new 3L 6 cylinder engine it had 124 hp. The year after comes the Mk2 with its three SU HS4 carburettors which brought the whole thing up to 132 hp.
