Adhesive thermal insulation tape 3.8 cm (Thermo Shield)

Thermo-Shield ™ is a combination of laminated insulating materials constituting a barrier against high temperatures which deteriorate electrical wiring, sheaths, rubber parts, electrical boxes located under the engine cover or in the immediate vicinity of the line exhaust.

Usage:

Inside the engine compartment, under the car at the exhaust line.
This flexible tape with an adhesive side can easily be wrapped around gasoline pipe or electrical wiring or glued on the parts to be protected.

Lexicon:

Vapor lock is a problem that primarily affects gasoline internal combustion engines.

It occurs when liquid fuel changes state from liquid to gas while remaining in the fuel supply system.
This disrupts the operation of the fuel pump, causing a loss of supply pressure to the carburetor or the fuel injection system, resulting in a transient loss of power or complete stalling. Restarting the engine from this state can be difficult.
