Jaguar Type E/XKE (1961-1971)

Jaguar Type E

The E-Type is one of the biggest myths in automotive history. Launched in 1961, it succeeds the XK series. Its production extended from 1961 to 1975 and was declined in 3 models (convertible, coupé and 2 + 2) and 3 series ( series 1, series 2 and series 3 ). The Jaguar Type E was of an extremely modern design for its time: self-supporting body, four independent wheels, four disc brakes, new suspension, etc ... Its advertised speed was 240 km / h!

The perfect restoration of this historic convertible often involves the complete change of the convertible top or the saddlery . Without forgetting the essentials hood cover and tonneau cover to make its look and protect your soft top and your interior.
