Description:

  • The MUFFLER-CAT HEAT SHIELD thermal barrier is made of woven silica with a flexible Mylar finish that protects against radiant heat and can withstand continuous direct temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius
  • The highly reflective heat shield can be installed between the body and the catalytic converter, muffler, or exhaust line to reflect heat and prevent it from entering the passenger compartment.

Technical service notice

  • The fabric is about 1mm thick, it is very flexible and can be cut with a scissor or a cutter.
  • Installation under the body thanks to the 9 plastic rivets provided (drill diameter 6.5mm) or by riveting, gluing… It is necessary to finish with a bead of polyurethane glue 24050 to prevent the passage of water between the product and the bodywork.
  • Position the silver side towards the heat source.
  • Do not apply on exhaust and exhaust line (buy articles DA00075 , DA00076 )
