Technical service notice

We advise you to buy the putty Butyl to achieve the seal at the level of the barrel.
We did not select the Twillfast RP canvas because this canvas is very stiff.
The gusset in which the side cables are installed is equipped with a zipper (to facilitate their installation).

The BMW Z3 soft tops produced from January 1997 to November 1998 are equipped with side relief pockets behind the main seam. The relief pockets were later removed. Note that the soft tops are interchangeable. Thus, an original soft top with relief pockets can be replaced by a soft top without relief pockets.
