Help in choosing soundproofing / insulating materials

In order to help you choose the most suitable insulation (use, location, position, etc.) we provide you with a downloadable PDF document to help you choose.

How to choose soundproofing?

Soundproofing Phonic, thermal and anti-vibration: Dynamat DYNALINER insulation for hood, walls and roof:

Application on bare sheet metal.

DYNALINER is an insulating product that combines 3 properties:

  • It isolates vibrations.
  • It reduces noise.
  • It blocks the heat.

It is a self-adhesive closed cell foam , which does not absorb water and is resistant to oil (unlike the felt often used by car manufacturers) .
Thus, you do not risk finding rust in your vehicle a few weeks after installation!

Measuring 137cm by 81cm, it is very easy to cut and put in place thanks to its self-adhesive face. Different thicknesses allow them to be installed depending on the available space:

  • 3.2mm
  • 6.5mm
  • 13mm

Example of a layer of 6.5mm Dynaliner placed between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment:
example in 6.5mm

Designed especially for prestige and vintage cars, as well as for high-end audio installations, it is particularly effective when placed on top of a layer of Dynamat Xtreme

Applications in the passenger compartment:

Application on bare sheet metal.

  • At floor level, gearbox and transmission tunnels.
  • At the level of the apron of the engine compartment and the interior of the doors and fenders.
  • At the level of the vertical and horizontal walls of vans, utility vehicles and campervans.
